• Where: Seattle Rifle & Pistol Association Main Clubhouse, Machias, WA
  • When: Traditional Class is held over several days. 
     March 16th 18th 20th and 21st, 2020
  • Who: Washington State requires ALL hunters born on or after January 1st. 1972 to successfully complete hunter education training in order to obtain their first Washington State hunting license,or if you plan on hunting as a non-resident in many other states.


All students will need to go online to the Washington State Website and register (if under 18 have parent fill out parent agreement form.) Links will take you to the class registration page which has more information, forms, and contact information for instructor.

Hunter's Education Registration Link

  • A $5.00 fee must be paid at the time of pre-registration
  • Students must be on time and attend all class hours, in order to receive their certification.
  • An adult must accompany students 12 years of age and under during all class hours.
  • There will be live firing on Saturday – Firearms and ammunition are provided by the state of Washington.
  • There is no minimum age limit; however, due to the maturity of the course material and subjects, persons under the age of nine are not encouraged to attend.
  • Parents are welcome to take the course also! 
  • Many other states require proof of Hunters Education regardless of age to obtain non-resident hunting licenses.
