McMurtrey Shoot

A fun trap shoot for the whole family will start on January 12th. The trap shooting events will be a single shot Continental (25 targets) and a 23-yard Handicap (25 targets).

This is an inter-club shoot between Seattle Rifle and Pistol, Old Skagit, Kenmore, and Granite Falls. There is a very nice perpetual trophy that we would like to bring back to Machias. The trophy is now being held by Kenmore.

Schedule

• Jan 12th @ Granite Falls
• Jan 26th @ Kenmore
• Feb 2nd @ Seattle Rifle and Pistol
• Feb 23th @ Granite Falls - with lunch and trophy presentation.

Times

• Squading starts at 9:30 AM.
• Shooting starts at 10:00 AM.

Events

• Event #1 – 1-shot Continental, 25 targets
• Event #2 – 23-yard Handicap

The top male shooter, top female shooter, top junior shooter, and top veteran shooter with the best aggregate scores from all 4 events for will compete at the season finale for a high overall buckle.

All 4 shooters – the top shooters from each class - will shoot 1 round of 1-Shot Continental from the 23-yard line to determine the high overall shooter. The winner will be awarded the McMurtry Shoot High Overall Buckle.
