.22 Rimfire Pistol EIC and Service Pistol EIC Events

Sunday, February 2nd, 2020 concurrent with the Bullseye Pistol Match

  • 0800 Match Registration & Courtesy Equipment Check (rifle/pistol range)
  • 0900 Safety & Match Procedures Briefing

Sponsoring CMP Affiliate: Seattle Rifle & Pistol Association
Location: 725-135th Avenue SE Snohomish WA 98290 (Rifle/pistol Range)
Registration: $10 on pistol range followed by mandatory safety & match procedures briefing

There is a $15 processing fee for Each EIC scorecard submitted directly to the CMP ‘LEG’ points can be earned toward Distinguished Pistol Badges in .22 rimfire and service pistol There must be a minimum of six competitors, and minimum score to earn ‘LEG/EIC points (250x300 Service Pistol, 260x300 .22 Rimfire Pistol)

Anyone with eye/ear protection can observe, coach, or have equipment inspected

Signed CMP Parent/Guardian Consent Form required for Junior Participants (Minimum age 14)

A responsible adult designated by parent/guardian must accompany junior competitor.

CMP match director can waive the age restriction upon presentation of specific evidence.
Evidence of Safe pistol handling must be demonstrated as a prerequisite, usually by completing a pistol training program and competing in a similar shooting competition

Excellence in Competition ‘Leg Match’ Procedures

  • Firing will be on mixed relays during the standard 90 shot National Match Course (.22/CF/.45)
  • Metallic/open sights only (adjustable sights and ‘match conditioning’ ok) for EIC Match Points

EIC NMC Match Events

  • .22 rimfire pistol EIC NMC: pistol must have a trigger pull of at least 2# and metallic sights only
  • Starting position for timed/rapid fire only is a ‘low ready’ (.45 degrees, not resting on bench)
  • Service Pistol EIC NMC: pistol must have a trigger pull of at least 4# and metallic sights only
  • EIC can be fired during either CF or .45 portion of NMC (depending on caliber of service pistol)

CMP Achievement Pins will be awarded for competitors shooting minimum ‘cut scores’ (>240). (CMP pistol rulebook, Gold/Silver/Bronze cut ‘scores’ established at 2019 National Matches)
