Please see the Calendar for information on two upcoming archery events.
We will shoot the flat course and both 3D courses. This will be a fun event with a focus on meeting people, shooting together, and getting equipment ready for the coming season. Expert help will be available, along with a bow press, tuner, and tools to get your bow and arrows in shape!
We have a date for our first High Power match at Machias; it's hard to believe it’s been over a year! Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 3rd, 2021.
Check in at the clubhouse from 08:00 AM to 09:00 AM. Firing will commence at 09:30
This match will be a 3 x 20, plus 2 sighters, with an unlimited sighting period prior to relay #1. ShotMarker electronic targets will be used, so bring your tablets. A limited supply of club tablets are available.
The Seattle Rifle & Pistol Association volunteer crew has been busy building safety baffles for the 500-yard line. It will be a bit different up on the line, but that is the price we have to pay for urban sprawl. Hopefully it's not too chilly, but if it is we'll have the two wood stoves on the line stoked up!
We are working on the remaining schedule. If everything goes as planned, we will look to host matches the 2nd Saturday of each month going forward. Stay tuned to the calendar for details
See the High Power page for more information.
Congratulations to Slade for breaking his first 25 straight targets on Saturday!
Congratulations to Tom for breaking his first 25 straight targets on Saturday!
Congratulations to Eric for breaking his first 25 straight targets on Saturday!
Our volunteers are hard at work bringing the range baffle project to completion. The project isn't quite ready yet, but I thought I share some pictures of the work and the progress so far to give us all a little something to look forward to when the range reopens soon.
Once you walk out past the new baffles to set or retrieve your target, the wonderful natural beauty of the range setting remains undisturbed.
