  Generally everyone meets around 9 to 930 am and does various tasks for a few hours. People are able to show up and work for as long as desired. Make sure to sign in and out or your hours will not count towards the 10 hour yearly requirement.
  

  Shotgun, Rifle, Pistol, Archery and walk-through ranges are not available for use all day to allow for weekly Thursday work parties.

  Evening Precision Pistol Match

  Important:
  Evening matches are for 22 LR pistols firing standard velocity or subsonic ammo only. The specified velocity must be 1080 fps or less. Match dates are subject to change. Please check the calendar before travelling.

  
  

  Non-members are welcome. They must first arrange gate access by emailing bob@seattlerifle.org or arrive with a member. The gate will not be locked open for this event.

  Match fee is $10 and $5 for juniors

  Matches will be every month on the 2nd Tuesday
  

  • At 5:00 pm the 100/200 m range will shut down for Precision Pistol set up
  • Shooters need to arrive by 5:45 pm latest to sign in and hear a safety briefing
  • Match starts at 6:00 pm
  • Conclusion by 8:00 pm

  Course of Fire

  • 90 rounds minimum with extra rounds for any refires
  • Slow fire at 25 yards: 10 rounds in 10 minutes
  • Timed fire at 25 yards: 5 rounds in 20 seconds, 2 strings
  • Rapid fire at 25 yards: 5 rounds in 10 seconds, 2 strings
  • Repeat slow, timed and rapid fire 3 times
  • 1 or 2 relays, up to 12 shooters per relay

  This 500 Yard Open Shooting Session is a no-cost event for current members and their badged family. In addition, we are opening this up to the members’ kids and grandkids. There is a $10 charge for "non-badged" kids and grandkids. Contact Randy with any questions.

  Each shooter will be limited to 30 minutes on the line if people are waiting. If you encounter the time limit, you are welcome to get back in line for another session.

  Pre-qualification on the 200 meter line is required before you can shoot in these events. Email Randy or Bob to set up a time.

  Set-up begins around 0830. Sign-in will start by 0915. Shooting will be between 0930 and 1200.

  Do not enter the parking lot or any part of the area in front of the 500 yard firing line. You must access the 500 yard firing line using the path on its West side. The pistol range and 100 m / 200 m rifle ranges are closed. Do not approach these areas or the associated firing line. The archery B course is closed.

  Scoring is with electronic targets. You can view your hits and score on your smart phone or tablet from the firing line. If you do not have a suitable device, the club has some you may use.

  Please join us for "Money Shoot" games at the trap range. The games are open to everyone.

  Please note that the Archery "A" Course will be CLOSED during the event.

  Please come and join us for this fun events event as a participant or a spectator.

  $40 for ten games ($35 + $5 Club Fee). Each shooter is suggested to bring at least 100 shotgun shells. Please arrive by 9:30 am to register.

  Match Fees:

  ShotMarker electronic targets will be used, so bring your tablets. A limited supply of club tablets are available.

  Battle of Machias

  The Battle of Machias is an aggregate of 4 matches consisting of a shooter’s best 3 matches from March through July, plus the August "Battle of Machias" match. Total 240 record rounds.

  SRPA WORK PARTY

  This work party will count towards your ten hours of volunteer hours. Please be sure to check in AT THE CLUBHOUSE when you arrive. Bring your outdoor tools if you have them! More specific info and tools needed will be announced in the week or so leading up to the actual date.
  

  Please keep in mind that the buildings and 60+ acres are maintained exclusively by members so your willingness to volunteer at your club is important and encouraged.

  Monday Night Archery Tournament

  Welcome to the Monday Night Archery 3D Target Tournament! Open to the public! The tournament series will begin Monday, April 7th and continue every Monday night through August 25th.

  Event details

  Sign in at the flat range	5:00 PM
  Event starts	6:00 PM
  Adults Tournament Fee	$10.00
  Youth Tournament Fee (15 and Under)	$5.00
  Event ends at dusk

  Each meet will consist of

  • Flat range accuracy, one shot per yardage
  • 3D "A" and "B" course walk-throughs, one shot per target

  Scores will be recorded on the honor system and transferred to a master file. Standard 3D scoring shall apply and will be shared with archers upon sign-in at the flat range. Archers will be paired with those of similar scores as the tournament series progresses. To remain atop the final brag board, participants will need to attend at least ten of the eighteen Monday night meets.

  The tournament ends August 28th. Any ties will be settled on the flat range at longer yardages. Awards will be given for high scores in Youth, Teen, and Adult categories.

  A novelty shot will be held on the flat range on the final day of the tournament, $5 per shot, for the chance to win archery gear!

  Equipment needed

  Bring your bow, arrows, and a pen and pad (or use your smartphone) to keep score.

  The first 20 youth Archers guest fees will be paid for personally by the archery chairman! We will have low poundage bows and arrows available for those who don't have archery equipment. New archers are encouraged to attend and participate. Complementary shooting form coaching will be available for those interested in developing sound archery fundamentals

  Annual Meeting & Picnic

  0900 – 1030: The day begins with the annual meeting. You will hear about the club’s finances, discipline reports, major facility projects and plans for the future. Election results will be announced.

  You will have the opportunity to ask questions of the officers and board of directors.

  1030 – 1500: After the meeting it’s time to socialize, try various shooting sports and eat lunch. The club will provide everything needed for archery, rifle and shotgun. This is a chance for you to try something new without having to buy the equipment. Club members will be on duty to provide safety oversight and assistance.

  Do not bring any firearms, bows or ammunition. The club will provide all needed materials.

  Dial in your firearm for hunting season. 

  Open to the public from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
  RSOs and other club members will be on duty to assist.

  • $15 per day per shooter. Exact change appreciated!
  • Signed liability waiver required prior to shooting.
  • Chamber flags required, NO EXCEPTIONS. Bring your own or buy one for $3.
  • Paper Targets are provided.
  • Targets will be preset at 50 yards and 100 yards only.
  • Shooting benches available but you may also shoot from standing or prone.
  • Spotting scopes and volunteer spotters will be on hand to assist.
  • Rifles, Pistol, Shotguns with slugs and Black powder are all welcome
